Join us Tuesday, January 2, for lunch and discussion with Peggy Wozniak and Dr. Jennifer Verive, who will speak about the American Association of University Women’s (AAUW) Work Smart program. These workshops are designed to help women who are already in the workforce, at any career level, to negotiate for a new job, raise, or promotion.
Peggy has spent decades in education, many of those years as a superintendent and as a mentor for those transitioning into the superintendent position. She currently teaches at UNR as part of the Educational Leadership master’s program.
Jennifer, currently teaching at Western Nevada College in Carson City, specializes in flexwork programs and teaching others to build their courage skills and feel confident and empowered to stand up and speak out for what they know is right.
Peggy and Jennifer will speak to us about AAUW’s stellar Work Smart workshops, which help women hammer away at the gender wage gap.
Please join us for some amazing food and stimulating conversation on Tuesday, January 2!
If you will be paying by cash or check at the event, RSVP by emailing NWLluncheon@nevadawomenslobby.org
