Join us Tuesday, December 7, for a holiday lunch and discussion with Stacey Montooth, the first-ever public relations information officer for the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony (RSIC).
Stacey will give a brief overview of the colony and will speak to how RSIC’s partnership with Washoe County School District advances education in the region.
Montooth, who grew up in Fallon and graduated from Churchill County High, has spent over a decade working in community relations, primarily in higher education and college athletics. She now oversees the effective production and dissemination of information regarding everything from the Tribe’s unique cultural activities — pow wows, language classes, traditional art demonstrations — and serves as the primary point-of-contact for the day-to-day operations of the tribal government.
Please join us for some amazing food and stimulating conversation on Tuesday, December 5!
If you will be paying by cash or check at the event, RSVP by emailing NWLluncheon@nevadawomenslobby.org
