It has been a bitter, divisive year in American politics. With new polls showing that we are more divided than ever before, it’s important to remember how fortunate we are to live in a country where we settle our political disputes at the ballot box.
It’s also important to remember that there are those among us who are struggling. Some are hungry, some are without shelter, and some are trapped by violence. And there is something each and every one of us can do about it.
